Import & Export
The Australian lamb industry has been more than 200 years in the making.
Foundations laid many years ago have helped it evolve into the dynamic and progressive entity it is today. The combined integrity of our farmers and processors and the advantages of an unspoiled environment have underpinned Australia’s reputation for producing some of the highest quality lamb available. Australian lamb is certainly a product of its environment.

As lamb’s popularity grows globally, Australian lamb stands out for its quality and flavour. As tastes and the need for greater variety continue to evolve, Australian lamb is poised to meet the demand with an extensive range of cuts and product lines, all raised and processed to some of the strictest standards on earth.
Australian lamb is a premium meat product that is highly prized for its quality, tenderness, and flavor.
Historically, lambs have played an important role in the Australian economy and culture since the first sheep arrived with the First Fleet in 1788. Today, Australia is one of the world’s largest producers of high-quality lamb and exports to over 100 countries worldwide.
Nutritionally, Australian lamb is an excellent source of protein, iron, and vitamin B12. It is also a good source of zinc and selenium, two important minerals that are essential for maintaining a healthy immune system. A 3-ounce serving of cooked lamb provides approximately 23 grams of protein and only 175 calories.

There are several types of Australian lamb available, including:
Grass-fed lamb: This type of lamb is raised on natural pastures and is free from growth-promoting hormones and antibiotics. It is known for its tender texture and subtle flavor.
Grain-fed lamb: This type of lamb is raised on a diet of grains and other supplements to enhance its flavor and tenderness. Grain-fed lamb has a richer taste and firmer texture than grass-fed lamb.
Organic lamb: This type of lamb is raised without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Organic lamb is known for its purity and superior taste.
We take pride in the meticulous standards that have resulted in one of the world’s highest animal health statuses, not to mention our extensive traceability program.
